Eddie’s Caesar

National Caesar Day is the Thursday before the May long weekend to celebrate the cocktail loved by many Canadians. In fact, the Caesar became Canada’s national drink when Parliament made it official in 2009.

In honor of our favourite cocktail and the official kick-off to summer, we are launching Eddie’s Famous Caesar.  A crowd favorite, Eddie’s Caesar is a perfect drink any time of day!

Available:

• Lotus Whiskey Lounge: Friday to Saturday: 7pm to 2am
• Centre Bar: Daily: 12pm to 2am

Describe your role at Parq and how long you have been working here.

As a Bar Manager, I oversee operations at Centre Bar and Lotus Whiskey Lounge. I have been working at Parq since January of 2022.

What do you love most about your job?

I love Hospitality and strive to always create a memorable experience for our guests. My passion for providing a high level of service comes from engaging with our patrons to create sharable experiences. Also, being creative with drinks and food is outright fun!

Tell us about the famous Eddie’s Caesar

Over my early years of bartending, I had been a part of a few Caesar competitions and it grew from there. I wanted to create a unique flavor and it really all started with the Caesar rim. Then I moved to perfecting a simple mix for Bartenders. My Caesar has a smokiness to it, created from a unique blend of 4 spices plus a little secret ingredient in the rim and drink.

So, can you tell us the secret ingredient?
No chance!

Tell us a fun fact about you.

I played NCAA Football and was drafted into the CFL. After a short stint due to an injury, I pursued my passion in Hospitality. Fun fact: I loved doing the Decathlon in College except for Pole Vaulting!
